Poor Americans

damn us and our 800GSM band, why do we have to be the odd one! Hope they release a american version of the w800.
You can always use the phone on T-Mobile and not worry about the 800 band 😉

Actually what makes me wonder is why is Europe 900/1800 while we are 800/1900? Wouldn't it of been easier to make it all the same?

Looks like the "w" is coming to North America...

I was just on the S.E. site
and clicked on the phone for
more information. It asked
me what region I was interested
in-so I clicked the America and
lo and behold the US and Canada
popped up. 😁
They have a page for the US, so
it is very probable that they
will bring the phone over. 🙂
The
K750 and K600 did not have any
links for the N.A. market. 😢
Wow I have to take a look. I have been salivating over the new phones for a while (since the Clara rumors started -- my GF even thought I was cheating).

I saw some good info over at http://www.se-nse.com/ May be of use to somepeople here.

Grrr

Hey, Sony Ericsson, thanks for considering us in the states when producing the K750 and W800, I can really feel the love, bastards!

Not sayin' I'm going to not buy Sony Ericsson, I wouldn't dare buy anything but Sony Ericsson. 😁

Well, maybe LG, that's about it. That's the only thing comparable to LG LOL, only kidding. Sony Ericsson for life!

But god damn, where's the 850 band you assbags?! 👿

I don't think there's gonna be an 850 version. T-Mobile only uses the 1900 band, and Nokia will be the only provider of candybar phones for Cingular. So really, we're outta luck. It's a shame.

These phones aren't even that great. Come on, couldn't they try to make a phone using microdrives. I dont know about you but i hate sony's memory sticks. Too god damned expensive for something worth your while like a GB or such.

U.S. Market?

Hopefully they will quickly release versions that support GSM 800 (850) fo Cingular/ AT&T customer base. 🙄
I don't think they will be. Isn't Nokia the only one that is making bar style phones for Cingular now? I thought that was mentioned somewhere, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
