It's a CDMA phone

But Verizon and Sprint only allow phones on their networks that they specifically sell. So will this only be available on smaller, prepaid carriers that have CDMA networks then?
GreatCall is their own MVNO. They sell you the phone and the service. They, in turn, buy network usage wholesale from CDMA carriers like Sprint.

Nice

Finally an update to that horrendous model. Looked like a miniature toilet.

Really ? 512 MB ram ?

This phone and the Chrono 2 have 512 Megabytes of ram? Really ? This seems to be a definate error, I really think there is no way this basic phone has even half that amount of ram.
That's what the specs say.

It's a feature phone. Does it matter?
