Processor again downgraded
Why are all the U.S. versions of phones getting downgraded from quad core processors??? 😡 😡 😡
...
It's actually not a downgrade at all.
1. Some quad-core chips support LTE yet. It would appear that's the case with Samsung's Exynos chip. That's the main reason for the change.
2. The dual-core S4 chip performs WAY BETTER (in real life, and in benchmarks) than the quad-core Tegra 3 in the HTC One X. I expect the performance will be incredible on the GSIII.
Every phone I've used with the S4 has had superior performance, so don't worry about it. Performance and not the number of cores is what matters.

The only reason I can think of is corporate corruption. Qualcomm has a stranglehold on the US market. The rest of the world gets top of the line processors, while the US lags behind. Qualcomm is the same company that tried to force the US government to implement CDMA in Iraq after we conquered them as a payback favor (corruption). Luckily they failed. The US cellular industry is a complete joke compared to the rest of the world. Qualcomm invented this communistic style cellular system (CDMA) that has your network provider acting like a dictator telling you what phone you can and can't use. The US used to be an innovator and leader, but when it comes to cellular, we just follow-waaaay behind the rest of the world.

or maybe it's becuase the quad-core processor doesn't support LTE.
Might be your reason, though.
