Correction re: Audiovox brand

FYI, I just made a small correction.

Originally, I said "With [the Audiovox] brand no longer available..." in reference to future Curitel phones.

It turns out that UTStarcom actually has a five-year license to the Audiovox brand, so it is still available. They are choosing to use the Pantech brand for other reasons.

Ugh. WHY?!?

I HATED the Curitel-built Audiovox phones. Nothing but junk. The 8600 especially. Let Sprint have them.
I've only had it for almost a year and its in really good shape given i've dropped it a dozen or more times (not the puni drops onto thick carpet but drops onto concrete).

The only thing I don't like is the speakerphone--it's a little on the weak s...

I've never met a Curitel phone that wasn't built very, very poorly. Great...flooding the market wit...
