Dialing options on Blackjack

My boss is carrying a Blackjack and needs it programmed to dial a voicemail # wait for it to connect, send the password and have it connect. I carry a LG phone and this feature is on it but I'm unable to figure it out on the Blackjack for her. I see where you can put the "wait" code in and the other numbers but it's not working but it's not working.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
uhm...im not quite sure what you mean, but the blackjack has #1 set to the voicemail already. just keep it pressed and it will call automatically
The design of the Samsung Blackjack is similar to 3 other popular pocket pc phones in the market, the Motorola MotoQ, the T-Mobile Dash (HTC S620) and the HP iPAQ hw6915.

bluetooth on the i607

Will the Blackjack sgh i607 accept a bluetooth ear piece and allow you to talk through it to the party on the phone? I know I cannot dial using the bluetooth but if I call the number from the phone can I then connect to a bluetooth earpiece?

Hello,
Just got a blackjack last week and loaded music on the SD card for the train ride but only plays one song at a time. How can I select like 20 songs and then let them play as I ride? By the way my phone is an SGH-I600 not the I607
thanks
According to my opinion this is really very nice and informative post. This post really provide me lot of useful and good information.

BlackJack *is* data-capable, isn't it?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the term as used by phone scoop, but I've been using my blackjack as a modem since I got it in early 2007.

With WM5, I used the method described in a thread here (using Internet Sharing), and now under WM6 I've actually configured the phone as a proper modem in Windows XP. Both methods work great on Cingular/AT&T and also on carriers in Europe.

So why does PhoneScoop (which I love) list the Blackjack as not being data-capable?
I don't know. You may want to ask the moderator.

Is there any way of adding Categories such as Family, Friends or any other category I may want to add. I've looked and can't find any information about it. It sure would be nice to be able to do that.....

Only reminders, alarms and incoming call alerts will work properly, as far as using music ringtones. Many phones are like that.

after wm6 upgrade

I have the blackjack and recently did the win mo 6 upgrade. I know that this phone does not have the hardware requirements to do gps but, when I open up google maps it shows my approximate location. Does anyone know how they are doing this? Is it triangulated via cell sites or the location of the nearest tower? Also has anyone noticed any change in battery life after the upgrade?
It's the location of the nearest tower. It's really handy isn't it? I don't know how I lived without it before. Oh yeah, I remember, I had to look at the exit signs for the nearest city, and type that in. Yikes!

If anything, after the WM6 upgra...

random MEdia net in wireless manager!??

I just began using the blackjack.
PROBLEM/QUESTION:
In the wireless manager settings, i set my phone to 'ON', but it eventually changes to 'MEdia Net'.

Does this mean i'm connected to the internet??
Am I paying for this??!

please help ☹️
i don't want to have a huge bill on my shoulder.
No, don't worry. Unless you actually use medianet, you won't be charged. Call AT&T to confirm this if you want, but they will tell you the same thing.
It does that to me after i transfer a pic message... there i believe is a way to set the media.net connection to time out, because leaving it connected eats the battery doesnt?

How to move phone numbers?

How can I move my contact list over to the SIM card? I have windows vista and the phone doesn't sync properly. I was looking to find the contact list file on the phone then copy it to the SIM card. What is the best way to move all my contacts? Everything worked well in XP now vista doesn't sync. I have updated all software that had anything to do with windows mobile. 😕
did you get active sync 4.5? did you update to win mobile 6?

reset password

Just bought one from my friend. He got it from his friend that changed carriers...he wanted to get it unlocked and use it on tmobile but sold it to me instead. Put my sim in and it came up with an error. I thought it was the sim but mine is ok..seems that someone passworded it with something other than the default 1234 . I tried a hard reset and soft and its still looking for the password. I'm waiting for him to get back to me but does anyone know another way around this...seems to me there has to be some way around it in case people forget.

Thanks
power the phone off by removing the battery, then re-power the phone holding down the navigator key. The phone will ask to press 1 or any key to skip. (press 1). Then press yes on resetting the phone. The phone will return to it's factory settings.

Custom sounds for SMS messages

Hey all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to set custom sounds for SMS messages like it is with ringtones? What I'd like to do is be able to use different sounds for texts from different people, so xxx-xxx-xxxx plays a.mp3, and yyy-yyy-yyyy plays b.mp3 when they text me.

Is something like this possible?

Thanks!

How do you clean screen on blackjack

I have had my blackjack in a case the entire time. I took it out to sell it and found that the screen is all dirty and looks bad. I tried to clean it but nothing is working. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Connie
windex and a mirofiber rag. Dont spray the windex directly on the screen though, spray it on the rag.

BlackJack Internet access as Modem

I know it's possible, but what's the deal with using the blackjack as a modem with your computer and dialing out to get internet access?

What's the number I should use to use this feature?
there is a fairly easy way to use the blackjack as a wireless access point for a computer using the usb cable.

1. connect the blackjack to your computer using the usb cable
2. on your computer browse to the windows directory on your cell phone

It's not dial-up internet. You're using the mobile internet, so you'll be charged for data usage if you have the data plan that charged per kb.

Anyone tried Syncmate for Mac?

It says it will do everything Missing Sync does, but for free.

Once installed, it says can't connect, that I should switch security configuration to "application unlocked". However, I can't seem to find how to do this under the secutity settings...

Help? Thanks...
