Sprint Delivers?

Well i am surprised. Sprint was so damn quiet that i didn't think they would really pursue this.

Of course they've covered very little of their area with EV-DO and they will not do the rest until next year so things could change but they've already announced the vendors so they seem pretty firm.

this is cool. We will soon seen HSDPA vs. EV-DO here in the US. That is real competition. If nextel goes flarion then we'll have even more, which will be yet better.

Does anyone know what kind of latencies people are getting with the current version of EV-DO? The release that sprint will deploy is supposed to have under 100 ms of latency, which is alot better than 1XRTT's 300 to 700 ms typical latencies. I don't know what EV-DO users are ...
