Cricket Signs LTE Wholesale Agreement with Clearwire
Precursor to a Merger / Buyout
With Cricket signing with Clearwire, I wonder if this may benefit Sprint with an opportunity to buy them out a couple years down the line (which it helps that Cricket uses CDMA--although I'm not sure what other LTE bands Cricket will be using).
That's king of tricky with Sprint. They are a wild card , you never really know what they are planning ( for good or bad ). They have tried many things in the past I'll give them that, I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to buy them out in the futur...
