Google today updated Docs for its Android platform and has added several new features. The most prominent feature is a new editor tool for creating, viewing, and editing documents. The text editor now supports rich text formatting, including bold, italics, underline, highlighting, and font/background color. The update also adds the ability to see real-time editing updates from others using the document, as well as the ability to use actions such as pinch-to-zoom within documents. The update is a free download from the Android Market.

Better than Google Docs

Nice to see this app. Would be very helpful to many of us. Meanwhile, I've come across some new tools which looks very interesting and handy, for collaboration .
One such tool is CollateBox http://www.collatebox.com/ . Just registered with this one found their video looks neat..Eagerly waiting for this one.
