Virgin Mobile USA and Audiovox Communications today announced Virgin's first camera phone. The Flasher V7 is based on Audiovox's 8910 model. The clamshell phone features a VGA camera with LED flash, speakerphone, "superphonic" real-music ringtones, and a 65,000-color main display. The V7 is also the first phone for Virgin's new "VirginXL" high-speed data services (1xRTT), including downloadable games and content, a WAP 2.0 browser, and an online photo album service. The Flasher V7 will be available next month for $169.99, in silver or navy blue.
