Google today provided an update to the Android version of its Google+ application. The new version adds a handful of features, including a better search tool, the ability to +1 photos and +1 comments, support for high-resolution photo uploads, better presence in the messenger function, and support for instant uploads of videos. The new version also opens web links within the application itself, and provides a number of bug fixes. Google+ is a free download and requires Android version 2.1 and up.
