Nokia today announced that its only device to run the MeeGo platform is now shipping. The N9 features a 3.9-inch OLED display, 8-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, and NFC technology for contactless (tap) transactions including easy Bluetooth pairing. It is available with either 16GB or 64 GB of built-in memory for storage for $650 and $760, respectively. The N9 will not be sold by carriers in the U.S., but is for sale through Nokia's online partners. It is compatible with most GSM-based networks.
