Apple iPhone Named As Violator in VIA Lawsuit

ViA Technologies, a company that makes electronic components, has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Apple. The patents in question involve microprocessor functionality in the iPhone, iPad, iPod, Apple TV, and their software. Damages were not specified.

Oh brother

I hate Apple as much as the next guy but come on. Is this the thing now when a company can't innovate? 🙄 Ridiculous
Actually, I find it ironic. Apple has been lawsuit happy for years, moreso these last few years. They pretty much claim everything created is a rip-off of their stuff. So for them to be sued for ripping off a product is pretty funny to me.

And my heart dropped thinking the friggin iPhone 5 was finally announced. Damn patent litigation.
apple already has a patent on suing for copyright infringement. I'm sure this lawsuit will go nowhere 😁
