AT&T's Samsung Galaxy S II Streets Oct. 2 for $199

AT&T today revealed that its variant of the Samsung Galaxy S II Android smartphone will go on sale October 2 for $199.99 with a new two-year agreement.

Samsung today announced a new beta trial offering of its Media Hub movie and TV content store. The beta trial is available only to the AT&T version of the Samsung Galaxy S II Android smartphone to start.

Skype has provided an update to its Android application that adds the video chatting feature to a large number of new Android handsets. Skype notes that Gingerbread is required to use the video chat feature, so owners of the following phones are encouraged to make sure their system is up to date.
