Sprint Closes Retail Stores Along Hurricane's Path

Sprint today announced that a large number of its retail stores will be closed on Sunday, August 28 while Hurricane Irene moves through the northeast. Dozens of stores in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., will not be open. The full list is accessible from Sprint's hurricane information center. Sprint reiterated that its network has been prepared to handle the storm.
