Samsung Galaxy Y Targets Young'Uns

Samsung today introduced the Galaxy Y, an entry-level Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone. This monoblock device is powered by an 832MHz processor and has a 3-inch QVGA (240 x 320 pixel) display. Other features include a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi. The Galaxy Y will run Samsung's TouchWiz user interface, and ships with Samsung's Social Hub software. It will include the Swype predictive software keyboard for speedier text input. More details will be made available by Samsung in the weeks to come.
