Google has publicly released a new photo sharing application called Photovine. The app was previously in a private beta. Photovine lets people share photos by creating vines. The vines center on a shared caption and users then upload photos relative to that caption. The idea is to create strings of related photo content that are created by groups. Users can create a vine and invite others to join it and share their photos. The application allows users to post to Twitter and Facebook, as well as add notes/comments to posts on growing vines. The application is free and requires devices running iOS 4.2 and up.
