Clearwire Finally Gets a New CEO

Clearwire today announced that it has promoted current Chief Operating Officer Erik Prusch to the President and Chief Executive Officer position. John Stanton, who has served as the company's Chairman and interim CEO during the search for a new leader, will become Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors. The promotion goes into effect starting today. Clearwire recently announced a major shift in plans, stating that it will launch a Long Term Evolution 4G network alongside its WiMax 4G network. The move will only be possible if Clearwire can raise massive amounts of cash. Prusch is charged with finding the necessary capital.

Boost Mobile has introduced the Celero5G, a white-label affordable 5G phone with a unique launch promotion attached. Like T-Mobile's REVVL V+ 5G, the Celero5G is manufactured by Wingtech and powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, (but the two phones differ in size and specs.) The Celero5G has a 6.5-inch display, 4,000 mAh battery, 4 GB RAM, and 64 GB storage, expandable by up to 2 TB.

Google Lens Now Lets You Refine a Visual Search with Text

Google has updated its Lens camera-based search tool with an experimental feature that lets you type in extra search terms to refine your visual search. Google calls this new image+text type of search "multisearch".
