Southern Linc Launches Slim iDEN Phone

Southern LINC® and Motorola today announced the availability of the much-anticipated Motorola i830. The i830 is the smallest iDEN handset available to date. This bronze-colored handset has the same features as the popular i730 model, but in a form factor a full 30% smaller. Features include a color display, push-to-talk, speakerphone, and Java. Nextel is expected to launch the i830 with the next two weeks.

Motorola has a new version of its affordable stylus-oriented phone. The new "moto g stylus (2022)" is similar to last year's 4G model, but with a larger battery (now 5,000 mAh) and an upgraded display with 90 Hz refresh.

Motorola i830

Glad to see that Nextel is finally making some headway by offering this smaller more compact phone. Does anyone know if Nextel is going to offer any other color in the i830 besides the bronze. Not sure I can bring myself to pay what they are going to ask for a bronze phone.

Nextel will launch this phone around June 1st. They are 'supposed' to offer it in both Copper AND Silver!
