Samsung and U.S. Cellular Develop Some Character

Samsung and U.S. Cellular today announced the Character, a new TouchWiz phone that has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The Character runs TouchWiz Lite and includes a number of home screens for apps and widgets. Features include a 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, support for microSD cards, browser, media player, and U.S. Cellular's easyedge services. The Character is available starting today. It costs $39.99 after rebate and requires a new plan.
