Nokia Closes U.S. Online Store
Jun 30, 2011, 10:22 AM by Eric M. Zeman
Nokia has recently closed the online storefronts for both the U.S. and U.K. markets. The portals had been available for users to purchase unlocked Nokia phones and accessories at full retail prices. The company indicated that the prevalence of other discount retail sites made its own online stores unnecessary. Nokia recently shuttered its online stores in a handful of other European markets, as well. Users who attempt to visit the U.S. Nokia online store are redirected to Amazon.com.
