Skype today updated its software for the Android platform to version 2.0 and added the ability to make free, one-to-one video calls. The video calling feature will work between Android devices, as well as with Android devices and Skype on the iPhone, Mac, and Windows PCs. The new application will first be available to the HTC Desire S, Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro, and the Samsung Nexus S. Skype didn't say when the updated software would be available to other Android handsets.
