Verizon Wireless recently indicated via its support page for the Motorola Droid 2 Global that it will soon get Android 2.3 Gingerbread, which includes a number of new features. Users will be notified when the update is available to their handset.

Clipper Card — the universal transit fare card for all 24 San Francisco Bay Area transit agencies — will be supported in Apple Pay and Google Pay digital wallets "this spring".
