AT&T today announced some new features for its AT&T Smart Limits for Wireless product. The additional capabilities let parents to block up to 30 numbers (increased from 15), which blocks calls and text messages to/from select people/lines. The revised service now also lets parents manage costs with more granularity. In addition to blocking app downloads and/or purchases, parents can also block calls to 411, which cost money. The software lets parents manage when phones can/can't be used, filter internet content, set browsing usage parameters, and limit downloads such as ringtones, etc.
