Motorola Introduces New Music Phones

Motorola today revealed three new GSM phones. All three are bar-style models with various music-oriented features:

E680: New Linux OS, QVGA touchscreen, Bluetooth, MP3 playback, SD card slot, VGA camera, MPEG4 video, RealPlayer, Java, 3D graphics, "3D" stereo speakers. Available 2nd half 2004.
E398: Hi-Fi stereo speakers, hi-res color display, MP3 and MPEG4 mutlimedia playback, T-Flash removable memory card, VGA camera with flash, Bluetooth, Java. Available 2nd quarter 2004.
C650: Similar features to the recently-announced V220, including a camera and MP3 ringtones, in a bar form factor. Available 2nd quarter 2004.

Hot Phones

Really nice phones, at least thats what i think of when i see the potential for these phones. I think if Motorola can get these out on time, they may just redeem their lateness in the arrival of the V600. Great features like bluetooth and "hi-fi" music/sounds and the ability to use memory cards should help sell these mediacentric phones.
