RIM May Outbid Google for Nortel Patents

According to two unnamed sources cited by Bloomberg, Research In Motion is weighing whether or not to outbid Google in its efforts to win a bundle of Nortel patents. Google has already made a $900 million stalking horse bid for the assets, which it hopes will help it avoid future patent lawsuits. Bloomberg's sources say RIM might top Google's bid in order to win the patents.
