Cricket Signs Roaming Agreement with Lightsquared

Cricket Wireless has signed a long-term roaming agreement with Lightsquared, which will give Cricket customers access to Lightsquared's forthcoming Long Term Evolution 4G network. Cricket will use Lightsquared's LTE coverage to supplement areas where it lacks its own coverage. Cricket said that its LTE network will launch later this year, though it has yet to name the initial batch of markets.
