Bitstream Launches Bolt Browser SDK

Bitstream today announced a new software developers kit that will let phones run Java applications from the web browser. The SDK lets developers take advantage of HTML5, WebKit, JavaScript and other Bolt-specific tools to create mobile applications that work on any phone with the Bolt browser installed. The apps are compress and run through Bolt's proxy server system. Bolt says this should allow a bigger number of app developers and content creators to more easily reach a wider audience.
