I guess no one told HP that we love the OS but detest the hardware?

It's no worse than the i'Phone' and its inability to make phone calls.

Good if in Includes Hotsopt like Pre+ does

These are not bad phones, if you are looking for a powerful phone that is flip phone sized. They lack GPS assisted Google Maps (apparently Verizon killed this intentionally) but they sync well with google calendar, directory email etc. Obviously not the application support of Android but a lot of stuff that you actually need (except for mapping) is there and the phone is really quite small while being usable. Battery life is too short but that is true of about every "smart phone" these days.

What is good is that for your standard data charge on Verizon you get 3G hotspot. While I don't use it much it is really easy to use and manage. A battery killer for sure but if you need to get your laptop, ipad etc on the internet for...
Verizon initially charged for that feature with the Pre Plus. They only changed once they saw it wasn't moving. There is no indication that they will give away that feature with this device.
