Verizon Launches First CDMA Microsoft Smartphone

Verizon Wireless, Samsung, and Microsoft today announced the release of the long-awaited Samsung SCH-i600 smartphone with Microsoft Windows Mobile software. The CDMA phone is available from Verizon Wireless for $399, after rebate, with a qualifying new calling plan. Microsoft now has 2 of the top 3 handset manufacturers (Motorola and Samsung) shipping phones with Windows Mobile software.

They need cheaper prices

It would be nicer if they had cheaper prices and that way then they could really market it. I know they are just breaking in the market and by next march the prices of the phones will be cheaper b/c there will be more competiton in this field. But darn.. If it wasn't so expensive..
