Sprint Acknowledges Samsung Intercept Upgrade Problem

On its corporate blog, Sprint acknowledged that some customers with the Samsung Intercept have been experiencing problems after upgrading the device to Android 2.2. The Intercept may become unresponsive after the upgrade is complete. Sprint is investigating and hopes to offer a correction soon.

Already Solved

The problem is already solved, if you have issues take it to your local sprint repair store. They should have an update.zip file that will fix it, and they can use it to update a phone that hasn't had 2.2 pushed to it yet as well.
How is the problem solved for those who have had the 2.2 update pushed and their phone is crapping out?
