LG today announced the Optimus 2X, what it says is the world's first Android smartphone with dual-core processors. The processor is an Nvidia Tegra 2, clocked at 1GHz, and is capable of supporting advanced media features. Other hardware features include a four-inch WVGA screen, microSD support up to 32GB, 8 megapixel rear camera with 1080p HD video recording and 1.3 megapixel front camera, and a bevy of sensors, including gyroscope and accelerometer. The Optimus 2X also has an HDMI port and DLNA for video sharing. The Optimus 2X runs Android 2.2 Froyo at launch, but will be upgradeable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It is launching in Korea in January, followed by other Asian and European markets later in 2011.

the two slots on the bottom?

Im hoping those are stereo speakers. 🤤
My guess would be that the slots are for some type of a dock. Stereo speakers are usually placed one at the top and one at the bottom since the phone is usually in landscape mode for multimedia.
