MetroPCS To Launch BREW

Qualcomm and MetroPCS today announced an agreement to launch downloadable wireless products and services based on Qualcomm's BREW platform. The launch of BREW-based services will allow MetroPCS subscribers to select from a variety of games, ringtone packages, entertainment and productivity applications and download them over the air to their mobile phones. The BREW solution gives MetroPCS a secure, turnkey system that can be quickly and easily integrated into its existing network.
