L.A., Other Markets, Gain WiMax Coverage from Sprint

Sprint and Clear today announced the launch of WiMax services in a handful of new markets, including Los Angeles, Miami, Washington, D.C., and Cleveland, Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio. Sprint says WiMax is now available in 68 markets across the country. Sprint and Clear plan to launch WiMax in San Francisco on December 28.

We need 2011 details NOW

Congrats to Sprint... the Ohio markets actually seem to be "from scratch" where as the LA and Washington DC markets have been in testing/beta for ages.

Now this is out of the way... Dear Sprint: We need 2011 details. NOW.
As a Sprint rep, I can safely say to hold on to your horses, we don't even have that info yet.

4g (not true 4g I get it) i really don't care. I like Sprint, it's also American!
Nobody! Sprint is the best choice in mobile right now and any smart consumer would not disagree. Sprint is the best overall carrier in the US and they just keep getting better! 😎

Can't say the same thing about Verizon's LTE network still no launch date 👀 While Sprint continues to expand coverage 😈

Verizon is the ones who need to get in the game speed wise not Sprint! Right now verizon has the slowest Speed...
