On Verizon Wireless, 'Smartphones Talk Free'

Verizon Wireless today announced a new promotion aimed at saving Family Plan customers some money. The Smartphones Talk Free promotion, which runs through January 6, 2011, offers customers who add a smartphone as a new line to an existing Family Plan a $10 monthly credit towards voice services. In order to use it, customers will need a Family SharePlan of at least $70 per month for 700 Anytime Minutes. Each addition smartphone still requires an additional $30 monthly fee for data.

Give me a break...if a family plan of 5 lines wants 5 smartphones they're only saving $50/month but still will pay $150 on data LOL.
Better to save $50 than spend $200. 🤣 🤣 🤣

The most that will be save by anyone is $30 as the 1st line is not billed an additional $10 fee and the second line also has no fee. Therefore, Verizon ends up with additional revenue no matter what and in a best case scenario will make an additional ...

??? so basically you whine about VZW and ATT prices which are basically the same and then when they come out with a promotional offer responding to the complaints to try and save people some money you still think that it's "lame"???

Well the first 2 lines dont have a discount.
co its more like 40 bux a month...you save $480 a year..not too too bad if you are using Verizon 🙂
