Verizon Wireless today announced a new promotion aimed at saving Family Plan customers some money. The Smartphones Talk Free promotion, which runs through January 6, 2011, offers customers who add a smartphone as a new line to an existing Family Plan a $10 monthly credit towards voice services. In order to use it, customers will need a Family SharePlan of at least $70 per month for 700 Anytime Minutes. Each addition smartphone still requires an additional $30 monthly fee for data.
