Sanyo Vero Launches on Sprint for $10

Sprint today announced the availability of the Sanyo Vero, a new flip phone, that costs $10 after rebate with new agreement. The Vero has dual displays (1.3-inch external, 2.4-inch internal), and adjustable fonts. Other features include a 1.3 megapixel camera, threaded SMS, stereo Bluetooth, GPS (with Family Locator), and speakerphone. The Vero is available today via Sprint's web site, direct and telesales channels. It will be more widely available starting October 10.

AFTER MIR

$69.99 upfront = FAIL

Customer are not going to want this if its that much up front.

The M240 right now is $19.99 and people started complaining because Sprint stores didnt offer an instantly free phone...

Now the base phone is going to be $50 more upfront.. wow.
The M240 is a Samsung phone (without camera) where this is a Sanyo device, so actually comparing it to the 3810 would be more accurate. Currently the Sanyo 3810 is $50.00 with a MIR of $50.00. I have sold quite a few of these having that mail-in. I ta...

stereo Bluetooth

so it has stereo Bluetooth but no music player.... when are calls in stereo, whatsthe point of the stereo?

Who cares? People buy $10 buck phones to make calls, that's it.
