DoCoMo, 3 Announce International 3G Video Calling

Japanese carrier NTT DoCoMo today announced that it will enable users of its 3G videophones to make international videophone calls to Hutchison 3G customers in the United Kingdom starting October 1st. The companies will also link 3G data services, allowing customers to dial directly into private LANs at 64 Kbps speeds between the two countries. DoCoMo expects to expand the international videophone/data service to other countries in the near future.
