Carriers Adopt Consumer Code

CTIA today announced a new "Consumer Code" - a document that enumerates 10 voluntary pro-consumer industry principles, disclosures and practices. All of the nation's major wireless carriers anounced that they will adopt the code. The Code requires several specific company policies beneficial to consumers, requires certains types of information be provided to consumers, and prohibits specific deceptive practices.
