R2D2 Droid 2 Special Edition Available in September

Verizon Wireless and Motorola said that an R2D2 variant of the Motorola Droid 2 will be available in limited quantities online in September. It will have Star Wars content and made to look like the R2D2 droid from the movies.

Samsung will use the new model as the more-affordable alternative to the forthcoming S22 series, rather than keep last year's flagship S21 models on the market at lower prices as the company has done in the past.

Not enough Star Wars cell phone stuff out there. This is long overdue but very welcome.

It would be even cooler if it came with a chewbaca mask so nobody could see you have a star wars phone in public.
