Motorola Dials Up Lawsuit Against Huawei

Motorola has filed a lawsuit against Chinese electronics maker Huawei, claiming that the company stole trade secrets. Motorola alleges that former Motorola employees left for Huawei and provided the company with information on Motorola's cell phone technology. The company is seeking unspecified damages and the return of its trade secrets. Motorola had previously filed a similar lawsuit against a company called Lemko in Schaumburg, Ill.. In that lawsuit, Motorola alleges that Lemko was founded on the basis of stealing trade secrets from former Motorola employees.

Hmmmm

I'm guessing this may be one (big) reason the deal to sell Moto Wireless Networks to Huawei never went through and why they are now going to Nokia Siemens Networks.
