Apple has made iOS version 4.1 and the associated software development kit for iOS 4.1 available to developers for the iPhone. No new features have been reported in the revised OS. Apple announced that a software update would be available mid July to fix the iPhone's signal display problem. It is not known if this new version of iOS4 includes that fix.

Shouldn't Apple...

...get 4.0 to work on the 3G and 3GS without bringing them to a standstill first?
Just to let you know, Apple is having a press conference tomorrow @ 10am pst.
...
I know iOS4 on a 3G isn't a great experience, but I thought the 3GS was noticeably better.

Apple is going to announce it is closing it's doors.

Please return all of your iPhones and computers to Apple. The company has decided that, since apparently they are not the best company on the planet earth, they will be closing for business effective immediately following the announcement.

If you wish to keep you i-devices they will explode.

The quest for global domination has ended. Apple is turning in it's hat.

I'm so sorry to be the bearer of this bad news.
