Google has announced that Nexus One phones would begin receiving an official Android 2.2 update over the air today. While numerous previous builds have been available through unofficial channels, today's launch would seem to mark the final release candidate for the updated OS. Android 2.2 brings such features as Flash 10.x support and Wi-Fi mobile hotspot capabilities. Users will receive an update message in their notification bar to signal the phone is ready for the update.
