T-Mobile Confirms All Phones Free on June 19

T-Mobile today has announced that it is holding a one-day sale on Saturday, June 19. On that day, all phones in all T-Mobile stores will be free with a qualifying new family plan. T-Mobile said that single-line users will be able to convert to a family plan to take advantage of the sale. T-Mobile said that families can get up to five free phones per family plan (each with its own two-year contract). T-Mobile said that even its most expensive phones, including the $200 HTC myTouch 3G Slide, will be free on June 19. Mail-in rebates will still be required for some devices, though T-Mobile didn't indicate which.

Foldable Google Pixel Confirmed by FCC

A new device approval appearing on the FCC's web site appears to confirm the rumor that Google has its own foldable phone coming out soon. Among the information available are diagrams showing "open" and "closed" configurations.

It's only logical that a cell carrier who is second place in worst cell phone signal would attempt anything before filing bankruptcy.

Announcing it 5 days before it happens, NOT COOL T-Mobile.

This isn't going to bode well for us sales-people types over the next few days.

I swear to God T-mobile, you are trying to put yourself out of business.
