Sprint PCS To Offer Streaming Music, Real-Music Ringtones

Sprint PCS today announced that it has signed deals with Sony Music Entertainment and Warner Music Group to offer new ringtone and music services featuring artists from both record labels. The new services, collectively branded the Sprint PCS Music Channel, include full-length streamed music tracks, "Song Ringers" - ringtones using real recorded music, and Animated Ringers - polyphonic ringers synchronized with animated graphics. The new content will be available in mid-July.
