Skyfire recently announced that it is accepting applications for limited alpha testing of a web browser it is developing for the Android platform. Those interested in testing the browser will need a device running Android version 1.5 and up and must agree to provide feedback to Skyfire about the application. Skyfire recently acquired kolbysoft, which made the WebKit-based Steel mobile browser for Android devices. Skyfire said it would use kolbysoft's expertise and engineers to bring a version of Skyfire to the Android paltform.

Since no one else will...

I am stoked for this. The latest version of skyfire rocks on the HD2, and I hope the Android version is every bit as good. Hulu on Android FTW!!
