Oracle Stuffs Java Into Qualcomm's BREW

Today Oracle and Qualcomm announced that Oracle's Sun Java Wireless Client can be integrated into Qualcomm's Brew Mobile Platform. These means that Java developers will be able to enable their apps to work in BREW-based handsets. Many of the feature phones offered by Verizon Wireless run BREW. The integration allows the Java virtual machine to operating within the BREW framework without interfering with native BREW apps.
