ZTE Bingo Will Use Qualcomm's Brew Mobile Platform

At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, ZTE Corporation breathlessly introduced their new touchscreen phone, the ZTE Bingo. The ZTE Bingo will use Qualcomm's newest Brew system, the Brew Mobile Platform (BMP) OS. The company claims the new ZTE Bingo will be the world's first ultra-slim, big screen BMP 3G smartphone. Qualcomm's BMP will give the ZTE Bingo some smartphone-worthy features, including multi-touch gestures on the phone's 3.2" touchscreen, as well as Google Maps and Facebook apps on board. The phone will also feature Adobe Flash support. An onboard accelerometer and aGPS for navigation, in addition to a 5-megapixel camera around back and a front-facing camera, will round out the hardware features. The phone will be able to browse on HSDPA networks at 7.2Mbps speeds. Specific pricing and availability have yet to be announced, but the corporation is highlighting their European interest, so that might be some clue.
