Today Google made a new version of Google Maps for Mobile available to the BlackBerry platform. Google Maps version 3.2 brings a major new feature to BlackBerries — the ability to view distinct layers. Layers can display information such as Wikipedia entries, transit details, friends' Latitude coordinates and other data. The software is a free update from Google. Google Maps for Mobile already supports layers for the Windows Mobile and Symbian platforms.

Does this mean you can get street level view?

I think that feature has been available for a while on google maps for blackberry. I am pretty sure the iphone version has it too. Very nice!
