Nokia Grants More Social Networking Powers to Messaging App

Today Nokia announced a new beta version of Nokia Messaging that brings social networking widgets to the homescreen. Starting with Facebook, users will be able to see and comment on posts from the homescreen of their phones. Users will be able to post photos from the camera gallery as well as share their location information via Ovi Maps and see their friends' locations. Nokia says that it will tie more social networking services into Nokia Messaging in the future. This beta version of Nokia Messaging is free to download and is available for the N97 and 6700. Nokia said it will support more phones in the future.
