Today AT&T announced a new application called AT&T Social Net. The free download lets users log into and access their Facebook, Twitter and MySpace accounts from one application. AT&T Social Net has a carousel-based user interface that allows users to switch between social networks. It will let them view/update status, send tweets, view and comment on pictures, profiles and more. The application also includes a reader that will stream in headlines from 35 news sites. AT&T Social Net will use pop-up notifiers to let users know that they have new messages or content to view. The app is available from the MEdia.Net portal, and supports roughly 20 handsets, including models from LG, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, and Sony Ericsson.

It doesnt even work with the Blackjack 2: I even tried telling it that I had the Jack and I still couldnt use it. Does anyone have a work around or the cab file?

Motorola RAZR V3xxr
Motorola RAZR V3xxrj
Nokia E71x
Pantech Matrix (C740)
Samsung A737

Samsung Impression (A877)
Samsung Jack (i637)

This device should, at a bare minimum, support all devices with a QWERTY keyboard. Complete poor form on AT&T's part. Good examples of phones that are not supported: AT&T Tilt, HTC Fuze, Pantech Duo, Samsung BJ and BJII, Blackberry Anything, and Pant...

Sounds cool

I wish sprint had it. But at the same time I really rather much just have a phone with the full web and just go directly to the site because the app based social websites be ugly and cramped and limited. But I'll wait for the reviews...
Its been available for a while. It works well.
