Microsoft recently provided some more information about the forthcoming Windows Marketplace for Mobile. Starting on July 27, Microsoft will begin accepting applications for the marketplace in all the 29 supported countries. Microsoft is also hosting an application contest, also beginning on July 27. Windows Marketplace for Mobile will work with both Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 by the end of 2009. Microsoft said that it will be creating a "dedicated Business Center," which will focus on and help sell and deliver applications to its business customers. Microsoft will share more information at its Worldwide Partner Conference this week.

A few years later than apple

So does this mean that it will also work on the new Zune HD? Like the ipod and iphone apps too? That would be cool, just sad that microsoft is slow at this game.
